Cultrual Diversity

When i wrote my lyrics i wrote them from the heart and from what i felt and feel inside. In london it's a kind of place where your trapped in a big whole and in that whole there is loads of people around you. People would think if they saw an estate then theres going to be full of black people and what not but in actual fact in london there is so many different ethnics that we dont class people as this or that we just class them as an individual and all these individuals have all this problems and needs which should not be neglected because there this colour or that race they should be all feel to be able to come together and help each other no matter what.

When i was young i was seen as black even though i was mix race with half white. My mum took much discrimination for getting with a black man and because of that i became determined to try write lyrics to bring people together and to set the peace between racial disputes.

Thats why the song is called Walk In Crowds.

Assignment 2 Plan

My plan is to basically be the performer for the music video. I am going to create my own lyrics and instrumental as well. For the music video I thought of doing some angle shots and zoom shots and close ups for the video. Mainly using the shot techniques which I learned when I was doing my presentation on lassehalstrom and chris cunningham and then maybe use some more difficult techniques along the way during the making of the video. I'm going to shoot it in different scenes. I have thought of a subway,beach,train station.

I want this to be for all ages. Something that everyone can relate to or to understand and see another persons sorrows and at most of all hear the message and pass it on.

Time Management

I was working with 2 people for the music video for our assignment and a friend called Joe has just come into our group. Harvey has told me that i have to work with joe on my own and the 2 original people as well and do 2 separate videos. This is going to be a hard task to be completed but I am confident that My 2 groups and me can get it done in time by spacing everything out properly.

We have currently 2 weeks to complete the video by.
Recording the video will be done on Mondays,Wednesdays,Saturday.
Recording the audio will be done on Tuesday.
Editing will be for a week to make sure that it is edited to the best of my potential knowledge.
Pitch will be done on friday to the class so that i can get extra ideas and maybe what to take out and what to put in to improve my music video.

About the video:

The lyrics for the video was written and rapped by me. I wrote it because i felt like giving the audience apart of my heart and how i feel and how my life has gone in a short brief song. It's about a boy whos life has never gone good and he was so confused, focused on issues of trust and family but the point of the song is to say how my life has gone and that many people also suffer from the same torment in life some not as bad but then some worse but the connection is what i really want with the audience so that once there connected they will feel the song within there inside and be able to relate to it. The chorus is the main part because i was talking about the audience relating to my song. The chorus is actually telling them that they is not alone and that life can get better just stick together, life can go from bad to good depends on how you look at it.
